Scott Bader, a UK-based chemical company, recently exhibited its new applications using advanced composites materials and adhesives at stand D161, at Composites Engineering 2015, which was held from November 4 to 5, 2015, at NEC, Birmingham UK.

Applications on display included the Spanish Ariane 3 'Moto3TM World Championship' racing motorcycle, with its infused carbon fibre (CF) Crestapol 1250LV resin, crystic gel-coated, body panels, structurally bonded with Crestabond primer-less adhesive.

On November 5, 2015, at Sergio Velosa, Scott Bader gave a technical forum presentation titled 'Advanced Gelcoats, Adhesives, and Crestapol Resins in Land Transport Applications', that included recent successful transportation application case studies using Scott Bader Advanced Materials with CF fabrics, highlighting processing, productivity and performance in use benefits to manufacturers and end users, according to a press release.

Launched earlier in the year, Scott Bader also promoted its 'GelTint' volumetric gelcoat colour tinting service, which is expanding beyond the UK to other European regions, at the expo. (GK)
