The Sea Force IX staff has long-term experience in boatbuilding and sport fishing. Captain Ron Rookstool, the company’s president and CEO, has spent many hours at sea, learning first-hand what is required to make a fishing tour relaxing and pleasant. That knowledge is now invested in his shipyard. Rookstool and his Sea Force IX colleagues devote their time to the design of sport yachts, each optimized to a client’s specific needs.

The importance of good equipment and design should not be underestimated when building a fishing yacht. At Sea Force IX, quality is everything. For more than ten years, Sea Force IX has had a reliable partner in DIAB, whose high-quality materials and support are well appreciated. One of the yard’s latest projects, a 94.5’ sport fishing yacht, was built using DIAB Divinycell H and took 1.5 years to complete. The project manages to successfully integrate a high-performance sport fishing platform with the exquisite luxury of a mega yacht.

The company’s unique design combines a monolithic construction system with an epoxy resin secondary bonding, allowing the structural strength of the hull and all its components to work as one unit. In addition, all materials and equipment are weighed. Correctly placed within the hull design, the single units together deliver an accurate and true center of gravity, ensuring that the yacht runs safely and efficiently in almost any condition.
