Finnish nonwovens producer Suominen is considering raising capital through the issue of a senior unsecured fixed rate bond.

The nonwovens producer said the potential issue will be launched in the near future, subject to market conditions.
Once the decision to issue the bond is taken and the offer is subscribed as per its expectations, Suominen intends to apply for the listing of the bond on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki.
Suominen manufactures nonwovens as roll goods for wipes as well as for medical and hygiene products.
The end products which are made from Suominen’s nonwovens include, wet wipes, feminine care products and swabs.
Suominen employs around 600 people in Europe and in the Americas and reported net sales of MEUR 373.7 in 2013. (AR)
