Thomas Olsen, MBA, has been appointed as the senior vice president for the Americas business area at Suominen, effective November 1, 2023.
He will report to Suominen's president and CEO Tommi Bjornman and become a member of the company's executive team.
Suominen, a manufacturer of nonwovens used in wipes, reported net sales of €493.3 million in 2022.

Thomas Olsen, MBA, has been appointed senior vice president (SVP), Americas business area, at Suominen. He will be a member of Suominen’s executive team and report to president and CEO Tommi Bjornman. Olsen will start in his new position on November 1, 2023.

“Thomas has a strong experience in leading sales in global organisations. He also has industry knowledge and proven record in successfully executing company goals. I am sure he will be a valued member in our Executive Team, and support us in our journey towards profitable growth,” Bjornman said in a press release.

Suominen manufactures nonwovens as roll goods for wipes and other applications. Suominen’s net sales in 2022 were €493.3 million and it has around 700 professionals working in Europe and in the Americas.
