According to the company, production is approximately 15 per cent above the performances of the TC 11, while also providing low energy consumption.
"The installed electrical power of the TC 15 is also 1.6 kW lower and the company also actually lowered compressed air consumption by 90 per cent,” Trützschler said.
“The area of web doffing and sliver formation has been completely redesigned and delivery speeds of 400-500 metres per minute are not uncommon,” it observed.
“This is also the reason for using the proven quality sensor of the levelling draw frames, the Disc Monitor, in the cards now, while at the same time, a pneumatic piecing-up system makes operation easy,” the company stated.
The new TC 15 can be coupled with the Integrated Draw Frame IDF 2 as well as with the new can filling station T-Move for Jumbo Cans and is also available as man-made fibre version TC 15S. (AR)
