Innovative products require sustainability for the future equipment. Flexibility in fibre and fibre blend handling was a goal for the new web formation technology.

Known for its outstanding performance the Trützschler Nonwovens Card EWK 413 was selected. With its flexibility in handling natural and man-made fibre as well as mineral fibre while showing excellent carding and web formation results for all web weights the EWK 413 gives NC State University all possibilities in an excellent manner.

For the mechanical needling the Trützschler Nonwovens Needle Loom ENL series will contribute to the flexibility. The Needle Loom ENL serves to bond the products with a minimum of draft in order also to achieve low weight products. Easy to operate with maintenance free guiding elements the Trützschler Needle Loom ENL will give NC State University product flexibility and time to focus on new developments.
