The acquisition is in line with GRP Solutions’ aim to develop a more sustainable range of products including non-hazardous alternatives to acetone, the company said in a media release.
GRP Solutions has also welcomed Vince Taylor, formerly operations manager at Estakleen, as its new business development manager for Estakleen products, and Glenn Russell, who manages the Estakleen warehouse and cleaning service based in Corfe Mullen.
Brian Harpur, managing director of GRP Solutions, said, “Offering an eco-friendlier solvent replacement system to the industrial market, consisting of an acetone replacement and workstations, forms part of our wider ambition to drive change through the composites market. This non-flammable, non-toxic and non-harmful approach to cleaning tools is a more sustainable solution which lasts three to four times longer than acetone.”
