Faurecia, a leading supplier of seat frames and mechanisms, emissions control technologies and vehicle interiors, has announced that Faurecia automotive seating and interior systems activities have been selected by the Volkswagen Group as strategic partners within the “Future Automotive Supply Tracks” (FAST) corporate initiative.

The Volkswagen Group had announced on July 31, 2015 the nomination of 44 suppliers who will be collaborating with the Group on a new common strategic level under the FAST initiative. With the FAST initiative, the Volkswagen Group is working together with its suppliers to respond to the challenges and accelerating technology changes taking place in the automotive industry. The aim of this initiative is to successfully implement joint technological innovations ever faster than in the past and to realise vehicle projects worldwide even more efficiently and effectively with the Volkswagen Group.
