The Warrior Protection and Readiness Coalition and Vector Strategy have formed a strategic partnership to develop and distribute market intelligence for the military individual equipment market that encompasses products such as body armor, protective apparel, and tools and technology worn and carried by military personnel.

Shared insights will also be utilized to support WPRC advocacy for warfighter equipment acquisition reform that sustains the industrial base and funds modernization.

"The effectiveness of the individual warfighter was critical for mission success in the counterinsurgency conflicts of the last decade," said Craig Heilman, WPRC Executive Director. "Many times, this success depended on rapidly procuring and fielding innovative equipment through non-traditional acquisition processes.

"The WPRC and Vector Strategy are partnering to capture lessons learned and facilitate industry and government collaboration to continue modernizing and maintaining production capabilities so U.S. warfighters will not enter future conflicts under-equipped against the threat.”

“Vector Strategy is excited to partner on the important work of the WPRC,” said Marcia Price, Vector Strategy President. “Our expertise on body armor procurement trends, our supply chain knowledge, and our access to government and industry stakeholders will complement WPRC's efforts to shape policy that supports warfighter readiness.”
