Zeepo's new strapless eye mask blocks light

People who used sleep aides such as eye masks know that if the light creeps in near the gap by the bridge of the nose or if the straps are too tight or too loose, the whole purpose of the eye mask -- to get a good night's sleep -- is defeated.

Zeepo has conquered the last bits of frustration for sleep mask wearers by creating a brand-new solution: gentle, adhesive strips allow the mask to contour to the user's face. No more gaps means no more light. And with pharmaceutical-grade adhesive strips, there is no skin irritation and no midnight adjustments of straps that are too loose, too tight or get tangled in one's hair. Zeepo is made from a 100% cotton flannel lined with a blend of 95% Tencel a soft, anti-bacterial fabric, and 5% Lycra. Total darkness to cover the eyes and comfort with ease of use when wearing the Zeepo.

To use Zeepo, place the double-sided adhesive strips onto the mask -- anywhere from 2 to 6 strips, depending on how snugglythe user wants the eye mask to fit. Pull the tabs off of the second side of the adhesive and press it to the face. That's it! Finally, a comfortable eye mask for a good night's sleep.

The adhesive is intended for single use, but some users might be able to squeeze in another night or afternoon nap. More often than not, the oils in the face will cause the adhesive to degrade. Simply peel the adhesive off of the mask when it is no longer sticky and discard. The adhesive on the strips is made from FDA-approved Medical-Grade Silicone, which is Hypoallergenic, FREE of Latex, Tin, Platinum and Peroxide. It should not leave any marks or rashes on even the most sensitive skin.

Zeepo founder, Aleks Horvat, spent many a sleepless night before he realized that what kept him awake was literally the light staring him in the face: from the LED on the alarm clock and the TV, moonlight, the street lights seeping in over the drapes, and the worst offender, early morning sun. If he did find a night mask to completely block out the light, the constant adjustment of straps became the problem in the middle of the night.

An early tester of Zeepo, Van Quattro of Fort Worth, TX, proved Aleks' point: “Other masks were uncomfortable, swiveled around when I moved and light was always leaking in. This mask blocks out light and it feels like silk. Plus is stays put. I love it!”

Horvat, a writer and serial entrepreneur, is inspired by personal experience. From founding the “Hollywood Creative Directory” to the writer's hangout “theOffice,” Horvat's drive to find solutions has always created paradigm shifts in his chosen product categories. Once Horvat figured out that the sleep mask needed to be strapless, he had to figure out how to make the idea... stick.

The adhesive not only solved the strapless issue, but it also solved the issue of conforming the mask to the user's face to completely block out the light. No more fidgeting with the mask at night -- whether it's to block the light or adjust the strap. Horvat wears his Zeepo every night, can't sleep without it.

Zeepo hopes to help people who already wear sleep masks and those who use ad hoc eye masks, like t shirts and socks, to sleep better and with more comfort. Zeepo provides sleep made perfect.
