Advanced textiles developer receives prestigious honor from P&G

At its annual External Business Partner Summit, held on September 11, 2012, The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) recognized Albany International Corp as a “Business Partner of the Year”.



Daniel Halftermeyer, President of Albany's Global Machine Clothing business, said, “To receive this prestigious honor from P&G for a second consecutive year underscores the dedicated customer focus of the entire Albany team. From the manufacturing floor to R&D, from planning to technical, all of our employees are aligned to support our customers in achieving business excellence.”

The Company became a supplier to P&G in 1957 and the current partnership was formalized in 1991. Albany International is an exclusive supplier to a proprietary process related to the production of the P&G Charmin, Bounty and Puffs brands.
