Growing hygiene, filtration, and automotive markets in China
With a wide range of products and services also for the Asian market, ANDRITZ Nonwoven provides full-line and individual solutions for all nonwovens segments. The innovative systems from ANDRITZ are much in demand, particularly in the rapidly growing hygiene, filtration, and automotive markets in China.
The ANDRITZ eXcelle and aXcess series combine the advantages of higher production capacity and greater weight evenness of nonwovens. ANDRITZ Nonwoven is currently expanding its production capacities at the Wuxi location in Jiangsu Province, China, where there is also a demonstration line including card, crosslapper, and needling capacities.
Further development of proven spunlace concept for increased production and energy efficiency
ANDRITZ introduces the new neXline spunlace aXcess, especially for the Chinese market. This newly configured spunlace line, equipped with only one Varioweb in-line card with three doffers in combination with the well-known Jetlace Avantage hydroentanglement unit and the Perfodry Avantage dryer, will enable manufacturers to produce state-of-the-art spunlace fabrics from 30 to 100 gsm with productivity of up to 8,500 t/a. In addition, the neXaqua dewatering system helps to achieve substantial energy savings in the production of standard wipes.
Finishing technologies for spunbond nonwovens with high quality requirements
For medical applications, ANDRITZ provides finishing solutions from just one source for spunbond nonwovens that must meet high quality criteria (hydrophobic, alcohol-repellent, air-permeable, anti-static, and breathable). The ANDRITZ offline finishing technology includes unwinding, impregnating, dosing, drying, curing, and winding/slitting.
Production of nonwovens from 100% natural fibers
ANDRITZ has developed the neXline wetlace, a line concept that integrates ANDRITZ wetlaid and hydroentanglement technologies, for the production of flushable wipes from 100% natural and/or renewable fibers.
The ANDRITZ specialists for nonwovens and textiles look forward to presenting their combined technologies and customized process solutions at SINCE 2013, booth J01, October 23 to 25, 2013.
