ESA attempts to make spacesuits more hygienic

A new European Space Agency study is trying to finds ways to keep spacesuits hygienic. Putting on a spacesuit involves sharing some previously-worn underlayers. A long-underwear-like Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG) is reused by spacewalkers along with the spacesuits themselves. The new study will examine how to keep these items clean.
