Under the agreement, AST and Peixin will cross-market their products, and factory service and support in their respective regions, increasing the quality and responsiveness of customer support, globally.
“The combined product portfolio is ideally suited to emerging markets where growing income is driving demand for feminine care and disposable baby care products,” AST said.
Also included are machines designed to produce absorbent pads and adult incontinence products to meet the needs of an aging global demographic.
AST entered the hygiene industry by solving some of the era’s most difficult challenges in diaper manufacturing and serves the hygiene, carbon fibre composites and life science industries.
It operates out of ISO 9001:2008 certified design and manufacturing facilities in Tacoma, Washington.
Peixin International is one of China’s oldest and largest manufacturers specializing in equipment for consumer products such as facial tissue and disposable diapers.
Their machines are exported globally to more than 90 countries including the US, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, and Poland.
