Autoneum builds plant in Komarom, Hungary

Expanding its European production capacities, Autoneum has opened a plant for manufacturing lightweight components for acoustic and thermal management in Komárom, Hungary. The plant, Autoneum’s sixth Eastern European production site, will start producing multifunctional carpet systems for a German premium car manufacturer within a few weeks.

Autoneum makes Carpet Cleanability Analyser

Autoneum has developed a "Carpet Cleanability Analyser" measurement system to analyse and compare the cleanability of different carpet surfaces. Three carpet samples soiled with strongly adhering particles like grains of sand or wool fibres are cleaned by a robot-guided suction arm. Cleanability and dirt resistance of each carpet is then calculated.
