Topspin invests in New York’s sports solution firm Mission

Topspin Consumer Partners, an operationally driven private equity firm focused on the consumer sector, has announced that it has made a growth investment in Mission, a pioneer in cooling solutions used in sports, outdoor and jobsite applications. Topspin is partnering in the deal with the founders of Mission, DCF Capital and Allstar Innovations.

SKGC & PureCycle to open recycled polypropylene plant in South Korea

SK geo centric (SKGC) and PureCycle Technologies, a US advanced recycling company revolutionising plastic waste, have signed a non-binding head of agreement to open Asia’s first recycled polypropylene (PP) plant in Ulsan, South Korea. The facility is expected to have an annual capacity of 60,000 tons and an expected completion at the end of 2024.

US’ Malouf to launch new line of hybrid mattresses at Las Vegas Market

Malouf is set to launch hybrid mattresses. The Peak line is the product of the three-tier Malouf mattress offering, which also includes Embark and Ascend mattresses. The mattresses will all be available for preview at Las Vegas Market from January 23-27, 2022, in the Malouf showroom at, B1350. Customers buy the brand to complete their sleep system.

BPCL’s SAP demonstration plant at Kochi Refinery inaugurated

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) Super Absorbent Polymer technology (SAP) demonstration plant of 200 tonne per annum at the Kochi Refinery was inaugurated recently. Commencement of SAP production at the refinery could result in setting up of ancillary industries in the vicinity including at the KINFRA’s new Ambalamugal Petrochemical Park.
