Germany’s Henkel to display new nonwovens at Index23

Under the motto ‘Rethink Nonwovens’, Henkel will present breakthrough solutions to enhance the sustainability and efficiency in nonwovens manufacturing at Index23, held from April 18-21, at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland. At stand 2255, Henkel will showcase Technomelt DM ECO, a new sustainability-focused adhesives grade for the nonwovens market.

Swiss firm Gurit’s composite materials’ sales up 52.9% in FY22

Switzerland based Gurit, a company that specialises in advanced composites, has reported a 52.9 per cent increase (at constant rates) to Swiss franc (CHF) 325.5 million in the sales of its composite materials segment in fiscal 2022 (FY22). The company’s net sales were CHF 499.5 million, an increase of 6.7 per cent year-on-year (YoY), for FY22.

US’ Domtar to sell Dryden Mill to First Quality

US’ Domtar, a part of the Paper Excellence group, and First Quality, have entered into an agreement to sell Domtar’s Dryden pulp mill to First Quality. The Dryden transaction, to close in the third quarter, is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals and the closing of the Resolute Forest Products transaction.

The new board members are Ricardo Fasolo, Neil Johnson, Chris Roeder, Paul E Rollin, Jodi Russell, and Julie Schertell.
