Elbit bags order from Indian home textiles producer

Israel based Elbit Vision Systems Ltd said it has received another large order from a major Indian home textiles manufacturer.

Elbit, a pioneer in the science of camera-based automatic vision inspection for textile fabrics and technical webs added that order is for the IQTEX4 Automatic Inspection system and also Shade Variation Analysers.

“This order of $0.6 million comes on the back of a previously announced $1 million order from a Chinese manufacturer,” Elbit Vision informed in a press release.

CEO Sam Cohen said, “This order is another successful step in furthering our strategy to penetrate the home textile manufacturers in Asia.”

“It is also a very important order with a leading Indian conglomerate which provides a strong reference for winning additional home textile business in this huge market,” he added.

Elbit Vision Systems offers a broad portfolio of automatic state-of-the-art visual inspection systems for both in-line and off-line applications and is used to improve product quality, safety and increase efficiency.

Its systems are used by over 800 customers, many of which are leading global companies. (AR)
