German Bionic unveils latest smart power suit

German Bionic, leader in the development of robotic exoskeletons, has unveiled the latest generation of its smart power suit. Made of ultra-light carbon fibre, the fourth generation Cray X supports workers when lifting heavy loads of up to 28 kilograms by actively amplifying their movements and thus protecting the lower back from excessive strain.

DH Sutherland, TCMA sign global distribution deal

DH Sutherland and Toray Composite Materials America (TCMA), composite materials division of Toray Industries, have signed a global distribution deal to support Boeing aftermarket aircraft, including materials qualified to Boeing's BMS8-276. The aim is to rapidly supply less than MOQ quantities of TCMA materials to commercial airlines and MRO customers.

Government considering exports of PPE-coverall

Kuraray restructures production to produce mask filters

Kuraray has restructured the production item lineup of its meltblown nonwoven fabric production facility on the premises of the Okayama Factory to produce face mask filters. The move is aimed at meeting surging demand for nonwoven fabrics for use as mask filters. The facility is run by nonwoven fabric production and sales subsidiary Kuraray Kuraflex.
