Spirit AeroSystems suspends Boeing production work

Spirit AeroSystems, US-based designer and builder of aerostructures, has announced that it will suspend Boeing work performed at their facilities in Wichita, Kansas, and in Tulsa and McAlester, Oklahoma. INDA applauds law of labelling certain disposable wipes

Washington representative Joe Fitzgibbon joined Association of Washington Cities and INDA in applauding governor Inslee’s signing of HB 2565, a law intended to address labelling of certain disposable wipes. The law requires packages of certain wipes to carry prominent ‘Do Not Flush’ labelling to guide consumers dispose them appropriately in the trash.

US decontamination wipe could help coronavirus clean-up

Seshadri Ramkumar, a professor of chemical countermeasures and advanced materials in the Texas Tech University’s department of environmental toxicology, had invented FiberTect, a three-layer, non-woven decontamination wipe to clean up toxic agents. Ukrainian Textile-Contact starts sewing protective apparel

Ukraine's Textile-Contact Group has started manufacturing protective gowns, shoe protectors, forearm sleeves and masks at its TC-Style garment factory in Chernihiv. Two more garment factories in Lubny in Poltava region and Korosten in Zhytomyr region will soon join the effort, group founder Oleksandr Sokolovsky recently said in a Facebook post.
