PolyOne completes sale of PP&S business to SK Capital

PolyOne has completed the sale of its Performance Products and Solutions (PP&S) business to SK Capital for $775 million in cash with an expected pre-tax gain of $600 million. PolyOne provides specialised polymer materials, services, and solutions. The company adds value to global customers and improves sustainability through formulating materials.

Autoneum appoints Bernhard Wiehl as new CFO

The board of directors of Autoneum has appointed Bernhard Wiehl, the long-standing head of finance and controlling of business group Europe, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the group executive board with immediate effect. Gurit to close its automotive production site in Hungary

Gurit Holding AG will close its automotive production site in Hungary in second half of 2020. The Switzerland-based company said it is in contact with the customers to re-assign the residual production orders to other suppliers. Shut-down cost is estimated at a low single digit million amount affecting the years 2019 and 2020, Gurit said.
