Kelheim Fibres wins World of Wipes Innovation Award

During the recently held World of Wipes (WOW) event in Atlanta, US, Kelheim Fibres, the Bavarian manufacturer of viscose speciality fibres, was presented with the World of Wipes Innovation Award. The award recognises the newly developed DanufilQR fibre, a positively charged viscose fibre that was specifically designed for use in disinfectant wipes.

KIST makes fibrous transistor for electronic textiles

Marking a significant step towards development of comfortable wearable electronic devices, scientists at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) have constructed a fibrous transistor which has the characteristics of a textile. Low & Bonar confirms sale of construction fibres business

Low & Bonar Plc, a performance materials group, is going to dispose of its Construction Fibres (CF) business for a cash consideration of €6.4 million to Adfil NV and Industria BV.
