Skaps Industries taking over Matrix Composites

Skaps Industries is taking over Matrix Composites (Henderson, KY and Seguin, Texas). It has completed an agreement in this connection. The acquisition includes all Matrix Composites technologies, operations and assets. The acquisition of Matrix provides SKAPS Fibreglass Division a global position and platform to expand in North and South America.

Bostik-Nitta JV strengthening adhesives business

The Bostik-Nitta Joint Venture - majority-owned by Bostik, an Arkema company - is strengthening its adhesives business in the Japanese market with the proposed acquisition of Nitta-Gelatin's industrial adhesives, and construction of a new adhesives plant in Nara.
