Trelleborg enhances its prototyping capabilities

Trelleborg has decided to expand its prototyping capabilities by creating a new Polyurethane Rapid Prototype Centre (PURPC) in its Rutherfordton, North Carolina, facility. The PURPC will be similar to the existing rubber Rapid Prototype Centre, but will deal specifically with polyurethane, both water-based and 100 per cent solvent-based coatings.

Toray to expand PP spunbond business in China

Toray Industries, Inc., developers of fibres, performance chemicals, carbon fibre composites products, have acquired commercial-use land in the city of Foshan, Guangdong Province in South China, with the aim of starting a high-performance polypropylene spunbond (PP spunbond) business.
