The technical textile market of India may grow at a rate of 12 per cent per annum, according to a recent study. It is currently estimated at Rs 1 lakh crore. Glatfelter's composite fibres business unit, in partnership with Dreamweaver International, has won an award for its Dreamweaver Gold 20 product in the category of the "best finished product made from, or incorporating nonwovens". The award was presented at the INDEX 17 nonwovens exhibition in Geneva. There were eight categories of awards.
