For the three months ended March 4, 2017, net income at global adhesives producer H.B. Fuller Company slipped to $14.8 million, or $0.29 per diluted share as against net income of $18.9 million, or $0.37 per diluted share in the prior fiscal's first quarter. Adjusted EBITDA for the reporting quarter was $58.9 million, or 11.7 per cent of net revenue.

Mitsubishi Rayon Carbon Fiber and Composites (MRCFCAC) has acquired US based Gemini Composites LLC, a company engaged in design, engineering and prototyping, using forged composite technology. MRCFCAC, which is a subsidiary of Japan headquartered Mitsubishi Rayon Co Ltd (MRC) has acquired all the shares of Gemini, currently owned by its founder.

Stratasys, the 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions company, has initiated a partnership with the UK's Manufacturing Technology Centre with an aim to demonstrate new processes and technologies that overcome barriers and push the boundaries of traditional manufacturing.
