IFabric has issued details of its testing results about the efficacy of Protx2 treated fabrics for inactivating an additional Human Coronavirus, type 229E. The company has informed that testing, done by an internationally recognised, independent laboratory in the US, established its efficacy in inactivating the virus both at 10 minutes and one hour.
IFabric said that efficacy testing of Protx2 treated fabric against this additional Human Coronavirus, type 229E, was carried out by an internationally recognised, independent laboratory in the United States, to establish its ability to inactivate the virus at time points of 10 minutes and one hour. The laboratory reported that the treated fabrics demonstrated a greater than 99 per cent reduction in active viral loads on the tested fabrics at each of the two time points. “Continued confirmation of Protx2’s broad spectrum antiviral efficacy is an important milestone.
