ITW Dynatec shows EDANA award winning technology at INDEX

US based ITW Dynatec and a global supplier of hot melt machines and solutions and case sealer technologies for the packaging, disposable hygiene products, adhesive coating & laminating industries is exhibiting at stall no. 4045 at the ongoing nonwoven trade fair in Geneva – INDEX 14.

ITW Dynatec has this year won EDANA’s INDEX 14 Awards in the category of ‘Innovation in machinery of special relevance to the nonwovens industry’ for its ‘Vector Surge Applicator’. This simple and compact piece of hardware enables the customised application of adhesives, while minimising waste. Highly versatile, the device can be integrated into any line.

Vector™ - Advanced Metering Platform:

The Vector™ modular metering platform delivers adhesive to a variety of applications with extreme accuracy. This flexible platform shares a common pump base and can be easily configured for use with other applicators including slot, spray and bead. The Vector™ platform can also be utilized as a stand alone metering station.

UFD Fiberized Spray Technology:

TW Dynatec's UFD Fiberized Spray technology is the most advanced technology for hot melt adhesive applicators. Laminated plate technology (LPT) produces monofilament strands of adhesive and uses heated air to elongate those strands and lay them down in random or ordered patterns. In many cases, by using its UFD fiberized spray technology, one can cut adhesive usage by 20-50% without negative change bond strength or durability.
