Kordsa expands its competencies in thermoplastic prepregs

Kordsa, a Turkey-based global player of tire, construction reinforcement and composites technologies market, has announced the launch of its woven based thermoplastic prepreg products as sheets with maximum dimensions of 1.2 metre x 1.2 metre. According to Kordsa, Prepreg is a reinforcing tape or a reinforcing fabric pre-impregnated with a resin system.

Kuraray restructures production to produce mask filters

Kuraray has restructured the production item lineup of its meltblown nonwoven fabric production facility on the premises of the Okayama Factory to produce face mask filters. The move is aimed at meeting surging demand for nonwoven fabrics for use as mask filters. The facility is run by nonwoven fabric production and sales subsidiary Kuraray Kuraflex.
