Solvay sets up two new innovation centres

Solvay has set up two new innovation centres, one each in the US and Europe, for thermoplastic composites. The centres highlight the company's research and innovation (R and I) capabilities and engagement with customers, in high performance materials for aerospace, automotive and oil and gas markets. Solvay's advanced materials replace heavier metals.

INDA & Edana report predicts rise in demand for nonwovens

A new report published by INDA and Edana, forecasts strong market demand for nonwovens materials through the next five years, according to the Worldwide Outlook for the Nonwovens Industry, 2018-2023. INDA is the association of the nonwoven fabrics industry, and Edana is the international association serving the nonwovens and related industries.

Notus Composites celebrates major manufacturing milestone

Notus Composites achieved a major manufacturing milestone when its one millionth m2 of fire retardant (FR) epoxy prepreg was shipped from its facility in UAE this month. Notus supplies FR materials for several infrastructure projects in the Middle East. The latest batch of material was supplied for the new composite Museum of the Future in Dubai.
