Glatfelter records net sales of $229.1 mn in Q1 2019

Consolidated net sales of Glatfelter, a global supplier of engineered materials, totalled $229.1 million and $211.2 million for the three months ended March 31, 2019 and 2018, respectively. The Advanced Airlaid Materials’ net sales increased by 19.2 per cent and Composite Fibers’ net sales decreased by 3.3 per cent on a constant currency basis.

Alexium has EPA approval for selling Alexiflam NF in US

Alexium International Group has got US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval under TSCA for the manufacture and sale of Alexiflam NF in the US. Alexiflam NF is a patent pending flame retardant for treating cotton and cellulose-based textiles. The EPA approval provides Alexium with access to the largest market region for flame retardant cotton.
