Manchester university team adds graphene to jute

University of Manchester researchers have added graphene to jute to create graphene-strengthened natural jute fibre composites. This may lead to production of high-performance, environment-friendly natural fibre composites that could replace synthetic composites in the automotive industry, ship building, durable wind turbine blades and low-cost housing.

SVPITM to organise Geosynthetics seminar on Dec 19

Evonik to sell product as anti-corrosion agent

Evonik, one of the world leaders in specialty chemicals, is planning to sell 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate phosphate as an anti-corrosion agent and flame retardant under the brand name Visiomer Hema-P 70M. Typical product applications of this methacrylate monomer include adhesives and plastics, paints and coatings, fibres, composite resins, and gel coats.

Gazechim to distribute Polynt products in Nordic region
