Metsa Tissue, part of Metsa group, has invested in a new tissue paper machine in its Mariestad mill in Sweden, as part of the recently announced tissue mill expansion and modernisation project. Andritz has received an order from Procter & Gamble (P&G) to supply a PrimeLineTAD (Through-Air Dried) tissue machine for its Family Care plant in Box Elder, Utah, USA. The start-up is scheduled for 2024. The new PrimeLineTAD machine will be supplied with state-of-the-art energy efficient process equipment to meet P&G’s demanding sustainability targets.
