Massif, a world leader in high-performance flame-resistant (FR) fabrics and garments for the U.S. military, now offers a line of clothing designed to meet the needs of industrial markets such as oil, gas, and utilities. The Massif Core FR line is constructed with Massif's proprietary FR fabrics that have been approved for aviation and/or combat use in every branch of the US military.

Every product in the Core FR line meet stringent industry-specific arc rating requirements and FR specifications, while simultaneously increase the performance characteristics needed by workers in the field.

"There's a huge need in the industrial workwear marketplace for innovative, high-performance protective clothing," said General Manager Noelle Christensen. "Our target industries have innovated rapidly to meet environmental and technological challenges, but the protective clothing they use still looks and performs as it did decades ago. The Massif Core FR line solves that problem."

Massif's success in the military and tactical markets stemmed from the company's ability to engineer FR clothing that has the comfort, functionality, and fit of the world's best outdoor gear. Multidimensional stretch increases comfort and range of motion, moisture management and breathability improve thermoregulation, and strategic seam placement makes for better fit and functionality.

"Our gear has been field tested in the world's harshest environments," says Product Manager CR Taylor. "We've worked with more than 1,000 field testers to make sure every garment we produce has the right fabrics, construction, and design details for the job at hand."

Products in the new Core FR line range from extreme cold weather gear to extreme hot weather gear, and include base layers, mid layers, outer layers, and t-shirts.
