The French company has been manufacturing converting and winding machinery since 1983.

Mondon enhances its product portfolio offering its last automatic unwinder TUW-2400 with flying splice in both ways succeeding in quality improvement and production efficiency.

Due to a non-stop operating, this unwinder cancels the transition sequences which can produce bad quality product.

Accuracy of turret rewinder rotation obtained by performance of the drives and the dancing roll are key factors to maintain a constant tension in the product. Our skilled team in tension control regulation allows the equipment saving money for the end user.

Loading time is saved as a new bobbin can be loaded in hidden time thanks to bobbin down end and dedicated cartridge. This operation is performed in a safe area. Rotation speed and axial location of the shafts is a key point to perform an accurate splice up to the mandrel of the bobbin. Unwinder design allows supporting bobbin with a large width and diameter.

Flying splice can be performed at very fast speed (up to 500 m/min). Fully automatic equipment includes a global touch screen for the machine supervision. Setting pages with receipt recording assists the operator for a friendly management of parameters and controls.

Machines are compact and versatile and can be applied for several applications on existing lines by adapting the design to the product. Interface parameter adjustment and mechanical design offer the end user equipment easy to use and maintain. Training is optimum thanks to pleasant interface.

In INDEX, MONDON is to highlight its latest development in spooling with his new SW-150 at booth 4140. This line cuts and rewinds strip in thousands of meters in only one bobbin. It is particularly recommended to avoid downtime on production lines. Thanks to large know-how in automatic winding process, MONDON is now applying his “easy to use” technology to spooling process.

This proprietary technology permits a flash change of the spool with unequalled results in terms of spool stability and straight sides. This development has been granted with an innovation award for its simplicity and the winding quality obtained.

The spooling line offered by MONDON permits to produce big spools with a diameter of 1200 mm and a width up to 1000 mm. Line can accept a large quantity of units with similar winding quality. This technology can increase your productivity up to 50% compare to usual solutions.
