Nano-Tex®, a leading fabric innovation company providing nanotechnology-based
textile enhancements, announced today a major breakthrough in water repellency;
Aquapel™. Aquapel is a highly effective and economical approach to water repellency that is completely fluorocarbon free.

Aquapel replaces the traditional fluorocarbon polymer with a hydrocarbon polymer which is both more ecologically friendly and economically smart. It offers the same performance – liquid repellency that's breathable, durable, and fast drying – at less
cost, while remaining both fluorocarbon free and PFOA free.
