Under the brand Neschen Coatings in Bückeburg, Production will manufacture the required digital print, adhesive and protection media, while commercial activities will be grouped under the Filmolux brand. The trading arm of the Neschen Group will considerably enhance its service to customers in the visual communications and book protection markets, thanks to a global product purchasing policy as well as improvements to information and goods logistics.

Oscar Mateo and Sven Schlobohm have been on board since the beginning of the year. Oscar Mateo will assume management of the newly formed Filmolux Deutschland GmbH and hence responsibility for sales of commercial products in Germany. As "Leiter Vertrieb Neschen" (Head of Sales Neschen) within Neschen Coatings, Sven Schlobohm will be responsible for the sale of Neschen products to distributors and subsidiaries, as part of our intercompany business.

Oscar Mateo is originally from the Rhineland (Düren, near Cologne) and, after qualifying as an industrial clerk, started his career at the paper mill Gebrüder Hoesch Feinpapierfabrik. He worked until 1996 for Sihl AG, the listed parent company of Hoesch, in southern Europe and South America.

After that, Mateo was responsible worldwide for the conventional and digital fine art divisions as well as technical papers at Schleicher & Schüll in Einbeck. Prior to his move to Neschen, he led the Print Germany division at paper wholesaler Antalis and, most recently, Marketing and Sales at May und Spies in Düren.

Heiko Kirstein, until now Head of Sales Germany, is transferring to the Sales division of Filmolux Deutschland and taking over the newly created position of Key Account Manager.
Sven Schlobohm was born in Kassel and began his career in the German sales department of the paper concern Arjowiggins, having previously graduated in economics. After stints in Austria and Wiesbaden, where he was tasked with heading up the so-called DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), he managed the customer service centre in Belgium.
Later, Schlobohm took on management of sales of specialist papers, including profit & loss responsibility for this business division and also its operations in China. After 20 years at Arjowiggins, he successfully took care of SME sales and marketing projects across Europe as well as a number of start-ups. As Head of Sales at Neschen Coatings, Sven Schlobohm is now in charge of dealings with distributors as well as our intercompany business.
