Further the awards also recognise start-up businesses, health and safety practices, sustainability projects, and investment in employees. Exceptional employees and trainee/apprentices will also be showcased.

“We are very excited to see what entries we receive for the 2020 awards. The composites industry has been involved in some amazing projects over the last 12 months, and have stepped up throughout the
Covid-19 pandemic. We'll also be renaming our Outstanding Contribution Award to the Trevor Starr Outstanding Contribution Award. Trevor was one of the founders of Composites UK in 1989 and sadly passed away earlier this year,” Claire Whysall, communications manager, said in a press release.

Entry into the awards is open to both members and non-members of the Association, with the deadline being 5pm on 31st July.”
