The State of California selected the CRRC as the sole entity tasked with evaluating the radiative properties of roofing materials under efficiency code Title 24. The NovaShield 400 series was tested to the specifications of the CRRC-1 ANSI standard and the product meets Title 24 of the California Cool Roof requirements.

The NovaShield 400 Series comprises both the FRU88X-6 for flame retardant applications and the RU88X-6 for traditional applications.
