Sage takes over automotive fabric business of Adient

Sage Automotive Interiors, an Asahi Kasei company, has completed take over of the automotive fabric business of Adient. Sage Automotive Interiors has paid $175 million and received regulatory approvals under the agreement of March 5, 2020. Sage provides automotive interior materials-seating, door panel surfaces, and headliners-to automotive OEMs.

Heraeus Noblelight is participating in FRAMES, a project part of Clean Sky 2 - the largest European research programme for developing innovative, cutting-edge technology to reduce carbon dioxide and noise emissions by aircrafts. Under the project, thermoplastic composites are being investigated for a lightweight aircraft rear fuselage and empennage.

Central National Gottesman expands into nonwovens & fibres

Central National Gottesman (CNG), which owns sales and distribution businesses in global pulp, paper, tissue, packaging, wood products, has announced that its Central National division will expand its product offering to include nonwovens & fibres. The new category includes viscose and lyocell, the plant-based fibres used in textiles, nonwovens, etc.

IFAI Expo to be co-located with Messe Stuttgart's show

IFAI Expo will now be co-located with Messe Stuttgart’s new US show, Sun Shading Expo North America, beginning in Nashville on November 2, 2021. The co-location of the two shows is expected to continue for a minimum of five years. The three-day Sun Shading Expo North America will focus on internal sun protection similar to R+T events worldwide.

Providing low lint and uniformity, the solution provides a tailored balance of properties for nonwovens used in premium diapers, pant-type diapers, feminine care and adult incontinence products.
