Japan's Daio acquires hygiene brands in Turkey, Brazil

Japan's Daio Paper Corporation will acquire all shares of Ozen Kisisel Bakim Urunleri Uretim AŞ, a hygiene products manufacturer owned by Turkey’s Yildiz Holding AS, and make Ozen a subsidiary. It also announced it will jointly acquire with Marubeni Corporation all shares of Brazil’s Santher-Fabrica de Papel Santa Therezinha SA in an indirect manner.

For the first time, Audi has used seat upholstery made from recycled material in its fourth generation A3. Secondary raw materials are being used. Up to 89 per cent of the textile used is from recycled PET bottles, which are made into yarn. This results in fabrics that give the same quality in terms of look and feel as conventional textile upholstery.
