Composite-sandwich conference to be held in February

The Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems (IMWS) and ThermHex Waben are organising the "Composite-Sandwich Conference" in Halle (Saale), Germany during February 5-6. The conference will highlight new fields of application of sandwich materials besides providing a platform to exchange knowledge and opportunity to network.

IIT Mandi holding workshop on composites in aerospace

Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is organising a National Workshop on 'Advanced Composites for Aerospace: Design, Manufacturing and Condition Monitoring Perspective' from February 11 to 15, 2020. America Makes signs cooperative agreement with AFRL

America Makes, the national additive manufacturing innovation Institute, has entered into a seven-year cooperative agreement (CA) with the Department of Air Force, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The CA is a cost-reimbursement/cost share agreement with a total funding up to a combined $322 million of government cost and America Makes cost share.
