Maxcess appoints global director of aftermarket service

Maxcess, a global leader in innovative products and services for web handling applications, has named John Gallagher as global director of aftermarket service. Gallagher comes to Maxcess with aftermarket experience, including field service, project management and aftermarket/business development roles at Rockwell and most recently, manroland goss.

Teijin’s Sereebo selected in GM pickup box applications

Teijin’s Sereebo carbon fibre reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) has been selected by General Motors (GM) for use in select pickup box applications. Sereebo will be used to make the optional Carbonpro pickup box’s inner headboard, side and floor panels, and will be jointly developed by Teijin and GM for the GMC Sierra Denali 1500 and GMC Sierra AT4 1500.

Glatfelter records net sales of $229.1 mn in Q1 2019

Consolidated net sales of Glatfelter, a global supplier of engineered materials, totalled $229.1 million and $211.2 million for the three months ended March 31, 2019 and 2018, respectively. The Advanced Airlaid Materials’ net sales increased by 19.2 per cent and Composite Fibers’ net sales decreased by 3.3 per cent on a constant currency basis.
