Nouryon (formerly AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals), a specialty chemicals maker, has introduced a new powder version of its Perkadox 16 (BCHPC) organic peroxide. Known as Perkadox 16 GB-70, the new chemical will allow customers in North American composites market to safely store larger volumes of product while meeting the latest fire safety standards.

Borealis and Borouge ‘s new polypropylene (PP) compounding plant in Taylorsville, North Carolina (NC), has started up during Q1 2019, with its inauguration scheduled for May 16.
