DuPont and Gelvenor, both leaders in the protective textile industry, have joined forces to produce DuPont's Nomex and Protera fabrics in South Africa. SABIC has developed an innovative new polypropylene (PP) resin product, SABIC PP 514M12, which delivers enhanced properties in melt-blown fibres for nonwoven fabrics. The product can serve a wide range of end-use products like diapers, sanitary napkins, etc. Beyond single-material and composite nonwovens, it can act as a base for colour master-batches.
