Fives along with its partners Dell'Orco&Villani and Technoplants has unveiled a pilot line in Pistoia (Italy) for nonwoven producers to test fibres for ADL applications -hygiene, personal care, medical, etc. The pilot line is equipped with opening and blending systems, a state-of the-art carding machine DMS Elowave and a thermobonding oven.

Owens Corning has signed a Strategic Cooperation and Supply Agreement with Chongqing Polycomp International (CPIC) for joint investment in technology, and construction and operation by CPIC of a new facility for manufacturing high-modulus glass fibre products in China.
