Intending to become an important player on the cosmetic pad market, Precot found a reliable partner in VMI Holland BV, supplying innovative and high quality solutions for its new project. This year VMI will supply several of it's new ACE 300, fully automatic and compact pad production and packing machines to Precot Meridian, as well as a HCI, high output machine.
VMI Holland BV, worldwide Dutch machinery supplier, develops solutions for cotton pad punching and packaging. The VMI Product Handling Systems division (former EBM) is a market leader in high capacity cotton pad machinery, which converts cotton blanket into cotton pad stacks that are professionally bagged. VMI's Manager Sales, Mr. Peter Alink about the ACE 300: “The prototype was delivered to a German company last year and turned out to be a great success. In the meantime VMI received already orders for a number of machines, including the recently sold units for Precot.”
Precot Meridian Ltd. is starting a non-woven project in the Southern state of Karnataka in India. “This greenfield project will be an integrated plant, with Processing, Non-woven line and finishing machines. Major machinery has been ordered and Precot starts with trial production of cotton pads in January 2013. We look forward to a fruitful cooperation with VMI”, said Precot's Mr. Ashok Kulkarni, CEO of the division to be set up.
