ALC's Bulgaria plant to produce BMW car seats

South Africa company Automotive Leather Company (ALC) is opening a production facility for luxury seats and interior for BMW cars in the village of Musachevo near the town of Elin Pelin, just outside of Bulgaria's capital Sofia.
The investment made by the company amounts to EUR 4 M, and it has opened new jobs, which will build seats for the luxury BMW Series 5 and 7.
ALC has a long tradition of working with premier car producers, such as Mercedes, Volkswagen, Nissan, in addition to BMW.
Delian Dobrev - Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism opens this new plant. Minister underlined that the government works actively for the preservation and expansion of investment incentives, which to increase the presence of serious investors from this rank at home. This investment fully corresponds with our vision for the development of the Bulgarian economy – it is for a production company, which created high added value, underlined the minister.
ALC Bulgaria is property entirely to the South African ALC Group. In the Bulgarian company has been invested 4 million euro, as it is being expected for its annual revenue to reach around 30 million euro. In the village of Musachevo will be produced leather interiors for the seats of the 5th and 7th series of BMW.
