Auto sector accounts for big chunk of Chinese nonwoven output

The Chinese nonwoven sector which produces around 130 varieties of fabrics for the automotive sector, accounts for nearly 20 percent of the nonwoven production in China.
The automotive industry in China uses nonwoven fabrics totaling to around 70 million square meters per annum.
Nonwovens find usage in around 40 applications in the automobile industry. The main among them being, seat covers and interiors and in ancillary parts like air and oil filters.
Stitch non-woven fabric is very suitable for car interiors, while vertical mesh non-woven fabric is mainly used in automotive parts of noise insulation.
