Zoltex plans its first carbon fibre production unit in Asia

Zoltex, the world's largest carbon fiber enterprise, is planning to set up its first Asian production base in Zhongshan City, located in Guangdong Province of China.
The bundle carbon fibre project to be set up in Zhongshan will produce 5000 tons of fibre when its first phase becomes operational.
The production capacity is likely to cross 15,000 tons after the second phase becomes operational.
The new plant will mainly supply to the Asian region.
